    Looking to take the next step in your career? Hatch is currently seeking highly motivated Mechanical/Piping Engineers to join our Project Delivery Group (PDG) at our offices in Tampa, FL.

    As a successful candidate, you will:

    + Perform Digital Project Delivery of Mechanical and Piping Engineering functions within multi-disciplinary teams across established and emerging industries and markets.

    + Assist project team in understanding of the project requirements as they relate to scope, execution strategy, cost, and schedule

    + Support site field visits to obtain information and data to support projects.

    + Support equipment identification and selection activities, including sizing, layout, technical specifications, and vendor information reviews.

    + Support piping system design activities, such as hydraulic analysis, piping and instrumentation diagram (P&ID) development, material specification development, stress analysis, and layout.

    + Support population of information and attributes into the data-centric project environment

    + Interface with vendors throughout the design and procurement process

    + Support direct interface with the client throughout the project duration

    + Participate in HAZOP reviews

    + Assist in resolution of engineering issues during Project lifecycle, including planning phase, design, procurement, fabrication, construction and commissioning

    + Promote and maintain the application of ethical and professional practices in the execution of engineering work

    + Adhere to and promote the Hatch corporate safety culture.

    You bring to the role:

    + Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited university

    + Approximately 2 to 7 years of engineering experience

    + Strong deliverable focus, ability to plan you work

    + Ability to learn and understanding inter-discipline dependencies related to the Mechanical and Piping Engineering functions

    + Exposure to procurement, contracting and commissioning methodologies

    + Sound knowledge of codes and standards applicable to the Project

    + Well-developed communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

    + Professional Engineer license or Engineer-In-Training status is preferred

    + Site experience in a technical role is preferred.
