    Job Description

    The duties and responsibilities of a driver include providing transportation services for residents in accordance with the policies and procedures of Medicine and Services. These responsibilities may also involve routine vehicle maintenance and cleaning.

     

    As a central supply clerk, responsibilities include handling tasks that may require lifting up to 20 pounds. Work hours may include early mornings or late evenings, depending on the scheduling of residents' doctor appointments.

     

    This is a full-time position, with 20% of the time dedicated to central supply duties, 30% mail duties and the remaining 50% allocated to driving responsibilities. The work schedule is Monday through Friday with an occasional Saturday for mail delivery.

    Requirements

    Preferred Qualifications

    High school diploma or GED preferred.

    Minimum Qualifications

    10 grade education or comparable work experience and work-related education. Must meet minimum age requirements of the State of Mississippi; must have one year of driving experience; liability insurance and a good driving record; must be able to understand and interpret written and verbal instructions.
