BASIC PURPOSE

Operate an industrial forklift to perform material handling assignments. Identify and transport material to and from storage areas and loading dock. Operate forklift/high-lift in order to lower stock to ground level pick-level slots from higher level reserve slots during night shift & day shift, and to put received stock in higher level storage slots during the day shift using safe operating practices.

12AM Midnight start time till finish

Main Ingredients of the Job

As a **US FOODS® Forklift Operator** , you will be critical to the success of warehouse operations. Your efforts ensure accurate product placement, clean aisles, and safe, efficient movement of inventory.

+ Transport pallet loads of product from dock to warehouse slots using powered industrial equipment

+ Secure pallets properly to prevent damage or injury

+ Replenish pick slots with product from reserve locations

+ Perform safety and operational checks (battery, brakes, lift controls, fire extinguisher)

+ Record product, equipment, and warehouse damage

+ Maintain aisle cleanliness and remove debris

What You Bring to the Table

Education/Training:

+ High School diploma or equivalent preferred

Related Experience:

+ Job-related certification for material-handling equipment

+ Prior selector and/or forklift experience preferred

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

+ Able to read and write legibly

+ Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)

+ Ability to understand Voxware voice-selection commands

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law.

The expected base rate for this role is $30.22 per hour.

This role will also receive:
