Position Summary
We’re currently looking for a Lead Financial Analyst to join our team in Nashville, TN.
This role will be responsible for leading Balance Sheet forecasting and analysis for Bridgestone America’s Financial Planning & Analysis team. This highly visible role works directly with the Finance leaders in Business Units and VP of FP&A in support of profitability analysis, project evaluations, and scenario analysis. The role will be a partner to Bridgestone America’s stakeholder (based in Japan) and multiple business, manufacturing, and supply chain teams, including senior leaders.
Responsibilities
+ Partner with business teams to explain the key metrics for ROIC, Working Capital and Invested Capital. Lead Balance Sheet modeling, partnering with key business units and Treasury
+ Responsible for taking on a leadership role during budget, forecasting cycles, including leading medium-term business planning
+ Responsible for monthly closing of Capital Expenditures and Balance Sheet
+ Consolidate and analyze large data sets and communicate concise, simplified conclusions
+ Form collaborative relationships with internal customers by listening, clarifying, and responding effectively and in a timely manner
+ Support and/or lead highly visible special projects for the Executive Team on an ad hoc basis. Help lead financial analysts on variety of FP&A initiatives and reporting
Minimum Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field. MBA or related graduate degree preferred
+ Minimum of 6+ years of progressive Finance experience operating in a performance / results-oriented culture
+ Ability to demonstrate excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills, including the ability to clearly present recommendations and summarize complex issues
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel skills required
+ Technically proficient with knowledge of SAP, SAP Analytics Cloud and BI/BW a plus
+ Works well on a team but can also manage work individually
