Overview
In this role, you'll be instrumental in building a new, Intuit-wide **wallet product** that gives customers a seamless way to sign up for and manage their cash flow products.
You'll be working on a platform that orchestrates money movement for over 100 million people, so you'll need to have a builder mindset and a strong ability to translate customer insights into high-quality code. The ideal candidate will also be passionate about creating world-class, consumer-facing applications and be able to mentor junior engineers.
Responsibilities
+ Build, design and implement high quality web or server software (requirements, design, code, documentation, etc.)
+ Ensure the end-to-end solution design delivers a great customer experience.
+ Roughly 75-80% hands-on coding building web application and Restful APIs
+ Contribute to early quality activities, including peer reviews of estimates, designs and code
+ Identify, Resolve defects/bugs during testing, pre-production, production, and post-release patches
+ Partner effectively with all team members to deliver against commitments
+ Understands and applies business unit objectives when creating solutions.
+ Work cross-functionally with various Intuit teams: product management, various product lines, or business units to drive forward results
+ Mentors junior engineers and teaches team members to raise the technical acumen on the overall team.
+ Proactively brings high impact technologies and engineering practices into the company
+ Commitment to team success and positive team dynamics
+ Passion for growing and applying technical skills in service to customers
+ Experience with Agile Development, SCRUM, and/or Extreme Programming methodologies
Qualifications
+ BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience
+ 4+ years experience designing and developing web applications
+ Practical experience in developing applications using services, engineering and operational excellence
+ Experience in developing and deploying code to production and providing analytics and monitoring for the application.
+ Experience with building solutions to improve Customer experience
+ Strong coding abilities, architecture, design, debugging, and performance/diagnostics measurement skills
+ Experience in developing cutting edge front end UIs, using JavaScript, REACT and other web technologies.
+ Excellent communication skills
+ Expertise in the Software design/architecture process
+ Expertise with unit testing & Test Driven Development (TDD)
