Overview
SMB Sales Transformation & Intelligence Lead
A strategic visionary and transformation leader who will architect the future of the Small-to-Midsize Business (SMB) sales organization. This role spearheads innovative projects and leverages advanced data science and emerging technologies (like AI/ML) to drive exponential increases in productivity, quality, and organizational scale. This leader cultivates a high-impact team, empowering them to develop, implement, and continuously optimize transformative initiatives.
Responsibilities
Strategic Transformation & Innovation
+ Future-State Architecture: Help Define and lead a multi-year strategy for the SMB sales org's operating model, leveraging AI, automation, and intelligent workflows to maximize velocity and quality.
+ Data Science: Work with data science partners to develop and deploy predictive models, diagnostic tools, and AI-driven insights to guide sales strategy and tactical execution.
+ Disruptive Project Leadership: Oversee complex, innovative initiatives that challenge the status quo, ensuring they deliver demonstrable and measurable uplift in sales productivity and ROI.
+ Connect Strategy to Execution 3.0: Translate macro market trends, emerging technology landscapes, and organizational intelligence into actionable, outcome-driven transformation roadmaps.
Cross-Functional & Organizational Intelligence
+ Ecosystem Orchestration: Facilitate deep, strategic alignment between Sales Transformation and critical departments (Product, Engineering, Marketing, Finance) to embed enablement intelligence directly into the entire go-to-market technology stack.
+ Organizational Scaling: Champion and implement standardized, automated, and globally scalable processes, workflows, and digital playbooks to ensure consistency and velocity across all SMB segments.
+ Rhythm of Intelligence: Architect the operating mechanism to continuously monitor the impact of transformative initiatives, providing executive-level, data-driven recommendations and strategic counsel.
Change Leadership & High-Performance Culture
+ Lead Change & Adoption: Serve as the chief champion for organizational change, skillfully navigating ambiguity, building consensus, and driving organization-wide adoption of new systems and methodologies.
+ Visionary Leadership: Lead the team with a clear, inspiring vision, focusing on building a high-performance culture centered on data-driven experimentation and relentless pursuit of excellence.
+ Modern Enablement Expertise: Maintain deep, cutting-edge domain expertise in next-generation sales enablement principles, including micro-learning, AR/VR for skill development, and AI-powered content delivery.
Strategic Growth Planning
+ Partner with the SMB Sales leadership team to define business objectives, analyze insights, and create impactful growth plans.
+ Develop and implement strategies to improve customer acquisition, retention, and overall sales performance.
Operational Optimization
+ Identify inefficiencies in sales processes and workflows, and develop strategies to streamline and scale operations.
+ Create frameworks for SMB Sales replication and automation, enabling teams to increase productivity and focus on high-value tasks.
+ Implement tools and technologies to improve operational efficiency and better manage customer relationships
Qualifications
+ 5+ years of progressive experience in strategic operations, sales strategy, transformation consulting, or sales.
+ Proven track record of architecting and managing highly complex, cross-functional programs, preferably involving technology, AI/ML deployment and use case definition and sales process.
+ Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to define metrics, use data science principles, and construct compelling business cases for transformation.
+ Mastery of executive communication and influencing skills, capable of building strategic trust with stakeholders at the highest levels.
+ Demonstrated ability to "Execute with Rigor" in a highly dynamic environment, managing competing priorities and delivering consistent, high-quality outcomes.
