Job Description:
Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Director, Delivery & Impact, Americas. The position is based in New Brunswick, NJ.
The Global Health Equity team advances equitable access to quality care through championing nurses and community health workers, enabling community-centered and culturally conscious care, and supporting access to our medicines and technologies.
Through partnerships, programs, advocacy, and communications, we equip healthcare workers with the skills they need to provide quality care, foster a diverse and inclusive health work force to support equitable care, and support health workers connection to communities and health systems to improve access to care.
POSITION SUMMARY
As Director, Americas Delivery and Impact, you will be an inspiring leader of a dedicated Americas team, a Global Health Equity ambassador and accelerator, advancing transformational program solutions, identifying and actioning catalytic grant-funding opportunities, and measuring our collective impact. The role will report into the Global Delivery and Impact lead and will develop a high-performing team.
You will amplify and accelerate key Global Health Equity priorities, enabling the region to accelerate its reputational goals and deliver ground-breaking social impact solutions for healthcare professionals and patients. You will cultivate and develop an impactful team three to implement programs and investments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
**Strategy** :
+ Leverage deep understanding of business, competitive and industry priorities to implement Global Health Equity plans that drive larger healthcare worker reach, patient impact, reputational outcomes and help shape the external environment for J&J the region.
+ Act as convener and broker for social innovation and health impact through new types of alliances and/or partnerships.
+ Pioneer development of a dynamic strategy and roadmap for the region and goals for the team in close collaboration with the NA and Latam governance structure and aligned with Global Health Equity global strategy.
+ Build trust in our strategy and improve the reputation of Global Health Equity in the region with current and prospective talent.
Executive Counsel:
+ Translate/Integrate regional goals into tangible Global Health Equity strategies and activities that support growth and reputation for a dynamic business.
+ Be a strategic advisor for commercial leadership, particularly the International VPs and Leadership Teams, providing key insights and perspectives to influence business decisions, support business growth, enhance trust and advance thought leadership on critical topics.
+ Manage issues on sophisticated topics, including Global Health Equity investments and programs.
Portfolio Delivery and Implementation:
+ Be a convener and broker for social innovation and health impact through new types of alliances and/or partnerships.
+ Pioneer the development of a dynamic strategy and roadmap for the region and goals for the team in close collaboration with the NA and Latam governance structure and aligned with GHE global strategy.
+ Manage and coordinate of annual Global Health Equity budgeting process and multiyear forward planning.
+ Portfolio management with a strong drive for focus and impact that can be replicated and/or scaled.
+ Identify opportunities and creates synergies cross J&J businesses, functions and geographies in the region, both internally and external.
+ Implement a culture of sharing and drive collaboration focused on social impact, driving proactive program/project planning, building local capacity and enabling strategic information sharing amongst other regional and functional support leads.
Internal and External Alignment and Partnership Development:
+ Build and strengthen relationships internally – with J&J leaders, Global Corporate Affairs, and Government Affairs & Policy, and externally – with global community, healthcare workforce, and health system partners.
+ Represent Global Health Equity within cross-functional meetings & forums and broader J&J to drive integrated health equity strategy, execution, and impact.
+ Serve as a J&J ambassador for global health equity externally to build trust in our organization and enhance the reputation of J&J.
+ Demonstrate integration of knowledge from internal and external networks; multi-stakeholder insights; broad understanding of Global Health Equity and industry priorities to drive societal and reputational outcomes.
+ The ideal candidate will be able to quickly grasp and translate complex messages into simple narratives, practice a collaborative workstyle, execute with excellence in delivering key programs and initiatives and, most importantly, enjoy what you do. We’re a serious, but passionate and fun team.

+ As a member of the Delivery and Impact Leadership Team, help set the strategic approach on opportunities with a mindset on driving business objectives and delivering for our patients throughout the hemisphere.

+ Explore and act upon new opportunities, build capabilities and set direction for the future state of Global Health Equity across the Americas region.
+ Demonstrate credibility, passion and dedication in building strong relationships to achieve key outcomes
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelor's degree required. Master’s degree preferred (MBA, MPA, MPH, LLM)
Required Experience and Skills:
+ Minimum 15 years senior-level experience in Social Impact, Government Affairs, communications, public affairs or similar discipline
+ Pharma experience
+ Experience in mentoring and coaching a team of diverse leaders
+ Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills and the ability to partner with leaders at all levels
+ Creative and entrepreneurial, with a track record for translating critical thinking into action plans and outcomes
+ Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution
+ Ability to make decisions in a changing environment and anticipate future needs today, managing complexity, ambiguity and multiple priorities
+ Operate with a business leader mindset, with appreciation, awareness, understanding and compassion for different ideas and styles of working
+ Ability to attract, hire, lead and develop impactful teams
+ Collaborate across the business, bringing an integrative view that connects people, insights and realities
+ Strong executive presence with demonstrated ability to interact with senior leaders
+ Demonstrated ability to build deep, authentic, successful relationships with top executives, peers/direct reports and strong influence with senior internal and external stakeholders
+ Exceptional attention to detail with superior writing and presentation development skills
+ Ability to drive workforce engagement strategies to inspire and increase productivity
+ Ability to manage networks in a matrixed environment
+ Strong business acumen, confident yet agile personality, the ability to move fast and the ability to provide strong counsel in real time
+ Experience in managing budgets and resource allocation across large critical projects
Preferred:
+ Trilingual: English language skills; Spanish and/or Portuguese
+ Current or experience with direct people management skills
+ Current or past work experience in organizational communications with responsibility for internal and external initiatives
+ Global mindset and successful track record of working in a global function, with direct experience of leading on international projects, issues, and teams, and of competent internal and external stakeholder interactions on an international basis

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
150,000 - 258,750
Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees and/or eligible dependents are eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)). This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.
