    V2X is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Engineering team in Indianapolis, IN as a Scrum Master supporting development and integration of advanced systems including situational awareness displays, mission computers, avionics, sensors, mission equipment, and radar systems. Most of our programs involve hardware in the loop where our software is integrated and tested with the hardware in a lab and then in the field. Our Indianapolis facility also supports a variety of other product lines serving multiple Department of Defense (DoD) customers, providing the opportunity to work on a diverse set of programs supporting the continued advancement of your career.

    Job Description and Responsibilities:

    We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced **Scrum Master** to guide and coach one or more of our development teams in applying the Scrum framework effectively. The SCM will focus on producing timely and relevant software releases to meet customer expectations. You'll be instrumental in fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and self-organization, ensuring our teams deliver high-value product increments efficiently.     As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for:

    + Facilitation of Scrum Ceremonies

    + Backlog Management Support

    + Impediment Removal

    + Value Delivery Focus

    + Coaching and Mentoring

    + Scrum Process Adherence

    + Interface/coordinate with other stakeholders as needed (Program leads, product owners, other scrum masters, management, etc.)

     

    Note: This position will require onsite work, typically a minimum of 3 days a week.

     

    **Required Skills** :

    + Minimum of 4 years related experience in a Software Development environment or other related engineering experience.

    + Minimum 2 years experience working in a Scrum environment.

    + Demonstrated leadership skills with a proven ability to mentor and coach teams and individuals.

    + A strong ability to self-organize and manage time and priorities effectively.

    + Relevant experience or familiarity with common development and infrastructure technologies such as C/C++/C#, Java, Python, networking, Linux, and Virtual Machines.

    + Must be a US Citizen with ability to obtain a DoD Secret level clearance.

    + Be able to reside in the Indianapolis area to support lab testing and other team events.

    **Desired Skills** :

    + Holds a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification.

    + Familiarity with one or more Agile techniques beyond basic Scrum, such as LeSS, Kanban, or eXtreme Programming (XP). Experience with DevSecOps practices.

    + Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar environment

    + Familiarity with build pipelines and Automated Testing Frameworks.

    + Current/active DoD Secret level or higher clearance.

    **Education Requirements** :

    + Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) degree program or equivalent work experience.
