• Senior Software Engineer

    Job Description

    Insight Global is looking for a full stack developer to work onsite for one of our client's in the Kansas City area. This role will split time, 50/50 between software development/project planning and production support. They will be supporting the development and implementation of technology business applications. This person must be a strong communicator as this role will require them to work with cross functional teams when helping to develop the applications. This person should be a strong full stack engineer with hands on experience coding with .NET, Angular, C# and SQL. There is an on call rotation between the 5 developers that will switch off every week for any issues that may arise over the weekend and would call for maintenance. 80% back end and 20% front end will be the breakdown of this role. Majority of the work will be done on the back end. This person will be supporting the back end API applications.

    Skills and Requirements

    - 7+ years of experience in web development - expert in the back end

    - Experience working with .NET core, .NET 8, C# and SQL

     

    - Familiar with Azure functions and developing in an azure cloud environment

     

    - Familiar with object-oriented programming concepts

     

    - Git as it relates to source control

     

    - Good communications skills and able to effectively collaborate with team members and key stakeholders - Angular experience would be highly preferred
