    Job Description

    Insight Global is looking for a Systems Engineer to work onsite in the St. Louis area with one of our large DoD Clients. This individual be taking on more of a leadership type role running and coordinating the program for the team. you will be tracking progress, scheduling projects, meeting with stakeholders and assisting in PI planning. The ideal person for this will have previous systems engineering background that has moved into more of a program/project management role.

    Compensation:

    $55/hr to $60/hr

     

    Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

     

    Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.     Skills and Requirements

    • Bachelor of Science degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science

    • Minimum of 4 years or equivalent experience in aero integration and verification, with a focus on military or commercial aircraft

    • Experience in system engineering, and the verification & validation process

    • Strong knowledge of airframe systems, Aerodynamic principles, Loads testing, GNC (Guidance, navigation & Controls), Vehicle management systems, and materials

    • Experience with test planning, execution, and data analysis

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team setting

    • Experience with JIRA/PI Planning/Agile framework

    • Ability to schedule out projects, track progress, and hold stakeholders accountable

    • Ability and willingness to dig into details and follow up with stakeholders • Experience with the T-7 platform or similar aircraft programs

    • Knowledge of systems engineering principles and practices

    • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies

    • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards related to aircraft design and testing (e.g., FAA, MIL-STD)
