Job Description

Update the Content Artwork Manager (CAM) application to provide users an interface that allows for managing artwork in today’s evolving business landscape, so that any creative team or artwork fulfillment vendor will be able to upload artwork for both first party and third-party lines of distribution.

We are looking for an experienced Sr. SDET to join our client's team to support their internal 'Content Artwork Manager (CAM)' application. This project will entail adding enhancements and modernization efforts the application's UI while also improving it's overall processes. This app enables browsing and uploading images to PCC constructs via the Artwork API for use on public and affiliate platforms, including the company's streaming platforms. You will be responsible for automating various functionalities (i.e. uploads of images/thumbnails, etc.) and you will only be focused on doing UI automation using WebdriverIO, and Gherkin for testing. This role is 90% automation testing and ~10% manual testing, The goal of this project is to achieve a high automation percentage with minimal regression time. There is no API testing involved in this role, but for example, you must know how to structure API calls and JSON payloads to wait in the automation.

Additional Responsibilities:

•Collaborate with QA Lead on defining the high-level project architecture automation strategies. Communicate architecture designs and decisions to all members of the team

•Collaborate with QA Lead to develop and maintain the project architecture, automated test case repositories and execution status reports

•Daily Check-ins of valuable, clean code that adds new features and capabilities

•Investigate and resolve any framework, tool or execution of environmental issues affecting our services

•Collaborate with QA lead Conduct in-depth code reviews and technical analysis of issues and test case design

•Collaborate with QA lead and peers to design complex solutions, peer review code, and suggest optimization

Skills and Requirements

-5+ years of experience as a Sr. SDET specifically with object-oriented design and expertise with one of the following programming languages: Node/JavaScript or TypeScript, Java, Python

-Experience using WebdriverIO for UI automation

-Experience with developing applications in Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)

-Working knowledge of web accessibility fundamentals

-Experience with Kafka, Amazon SQS, and Kinesis

-Experience writing Gherkin Syntax to facilitate the development of automated test scenarios

-Familiar with how to structure API calls and JSON payloads

-Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

-Organized, detail-oriented and able to deliver project tasks on time

-Strong verbal and written communication skills. Highly motivated, self-starting individual

-Experience with test suite/case/run management tools (e.g., JIRA Xray, etc.)

-Can clearly present complex technical ideas to a large group including more senior engineers and managers

-Experience developing advanced mocking mechanisms (e.g., rule-based proxies and dummy-services)

-Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Spinnaker, and continuous integration/delivery systems

-Experience working in an Agile environment and familiar with 'sprint automation' (i.e. automation work during sprints)
