What You’ll Do:

As a Software Engineering Intern, you’ll dive into Rubrik’s cutting-edge technologies and work on challenging technical projects across various product areas. Projects could include:

+ Designing and implementing machine learning models to enhance core functionalities.

+ Optimizing tools to improve workflows for Rubrik’s engineering teams.

+ Developing robust new security features for Rubrik’s products.

+ Conducting exploratory research on emerging technologies.

Basic Qualifications:

+ Availability to work **full-time** starting January 12, 2026 – May 15, 2026, at our headquarters in **Palo Alto, CA** .

+ Pursuing a **BS, MS, or PhD** in Computer Science or a closely related field.

+ Expected graduation date in **December 2026 or Spring 2027** .

+ Proficiency in one or more industry-standard programming languages (e.g., Java, Go, Python, C++, Objective-C, JavaScript).

+ Familiarity with fundamental computer science concepts, such as **algorithms** , **data structures** , **operating systems** , **concurrency** , and **distributed systems** .

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Hands-on software engineering experience through internships, competitive coding challenges, significant academic projects, or research publications.
