Position Summary
The Associate Category Development Manager provides support on reporting category trends and POG recommendations to the customer. This role has responsibility for analyzing and identifying key trends within the business, building plans around a category strategy, and executing POGs based on that strategy. This roll will be the expert in the customer’s category as well as the key strategic leader to assist the Buyer with data based reporting and recommendations.
Responsibilities
+ Act as the category leader with customer to help develop category strategy based on insights and market trends
+ Develop and deliver customer presentations
+ Support the customer category modular process with data driven recommendations and modular drawing
+ Lead and tracks key projects/initiatives for the customer
+ Conduct competitive analysis that identifies competitor strategies, strengths and weaknesses
+ Responsible for the Identification and tracking of key trends
+ Conduct ad hoc reporting and analysis as required
+ Complete ad tracking for channel/ retailers
+ Formulates standard category reporting with customer and syndicated data
+ May perform other duties as assigned
What we are looking for
+ Minimum 2-3 years customer-facing Sales and/or Category Management experience
+ BA/BS or equivalent work experience required; Marketing/Business Administration preferred
+ Proven ability to work effectively with teams, strong communication and interpersonal skills including presentation and relationship building is essential
+ Outstanding written & verbal communication skills
+ Analytical mindset
+ Experienced in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Power Point, Access)
+ Experience in developing & delivering compelling stories / presentations
+ Relationship building
+ Retail Link experience preferred
+ Proficiency in JDA space planning software preferred
+ Syndicated Data (AC Nielsen or IRI) preferred
+ Project Management / Prioritization

Total Rewards Package
The salary range for this position is USD $90,000.00/Yr. - USD $137,000.00/Yr.
Actual base salary offered to a candidate may vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
