    We’re seeking a **Director of Advertising Analytics** to lead th e team responsible for aligning business metrics and identifying data-driven revenue opportunities to move our digital business forward .

     

    This role is at the intersection of **journalism, audience behavior, and product innovation** . The ideal candidate brings experience in data modeling, experimentation and innovative ad products.

    Your Role Accountabilities…

    + Hire and develop a team of analyst s to create actionable insights to maximize ad revenue .

    + Partner with Data Engineering, set ad data strategy and evaluate source system datasets to determine appropriate transformations to fulfill operational and reporting needs.

    + Establish baseline metrics for the Revenue Enablement Mission and partner with stakeholder Operations, Product & Sales teams to ensure consistency of usage.

    + Along with the Ad Sales and larger Data organization, l aunch a CNN 1st party data program that makes use of CNN’s competitive advan tages to target ads more effectively .

    + Using a combination of exploratory data analysis, industry trends and alignment with counterpart teams and leaders, identify levers for advertising business performance.

    + Deeply understand the ads ecosystem and corresponding data flows to identify commercial opportunities and paths to execution.

    + Partner with adjacent data and analytics team s to build sustainable data models to service the entire D igital P roducts & S ervices organization .

    Qualifications & Experience…

    + Demonstrated track record of high impact in a fast - pa ce d environment .

    + Expertise in analytics tools: SQL, ETL / ELT, Python / R, visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, Domo, etc.) .

    + Curiosity and initiative in adopting new technologies , particularly in GenAI / ML .

    + Minimum 9 years of experience working in analytics, data engineering, data science, business intelligenc e or related capacity.

    + 3+ years of experience managing technical teams.

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    + Prior experience in advertising and ad tech preferred.

    In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $140,000.00 - $260,000.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
