Full time Child Care Teacher Assistant – Charlotte, NC
Schedule: Availability required between 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM , Monday through Friday

What You'll Do
Key Responsibilities:
+ Co-teaching with lead teachers in implementing daily classroom activities and routines.
+ Foster a nurturing, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate environment.
+ Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care.
+ Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members.
+ Support the center’s goals, guidelines, and standards of excellence.
What We're Looking For
+ Education : High School Diploma or GED, required. Credentials EDU 119 or equilvency as defined by DHHS Education Workforce, preferred.
+ Experience : Preferred.
+ Licensure/Certification: NC CDL License, preferred. Adult and Pediatric CPR/First Aid within 2 months of hire, required. ITS SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) within 2 months of hire, required. BSAC (Basic School Age) for those working with school age children, required. DHHS NC Division of Child Development Criminal Background letter, required.
+ Additional Skills (required): DHHS NC Division of Child Development Criminal Background letter and education verification or workforce letter (within 60 days). BSAC required or those working with school age children and CDL if driving the bus if applicable. Maintain training hours requirements as outlined for substitutes by regulatory compliance.
+ Additional Skills (preferred): The ability to work a variety of work schedules and to work effectively in all classrooms within the centers.
