Key Responsibilities
+ Data Engineering: Build and maintain robust data pipelines using Oracle and AWS, ensuring efficient data processing and management within a data warehouse environment. Develop and maintain routines for data quality and reliability.
+ Production Support: Take ownership of PROD support responsibilities, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving data pipeline and platform issues to ensure high availability and performance.
+ Automation & Scripting: Develop and maintain UNIX shell scripts for automation of data workflows and operational tasks.
+ Cloud & Streaming: Leverage AWS Cloud services for scalable data solutions and utilize Kafka for real-time data streaming and integration.
+ Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CICD): Implement and maintain CICD pipelines to support automated testing, deployment, and monitoring of data engineering solutions.
+ Client Collaboration: Work closely with financial services clients to deliver modern data solutions that drive business decisions, investment analysis, and compliance management.
+ Team Collaboration: Collaborate within a Pod of data engineers, working towards common objectives and sharing knowledge in a consultative fashion.
Requirements
+ Experience: 5-7 years of experience in data engineering, with demonstrated PROD support responsibility.
Technical Skills
+ Proficiency in RDBMS, specifically Oracle and PL/SQL
+ Strong UNIX shell scripting skills
+ Experience with AWS Cloud services (e.g., S3, EC2, Lambda, IAM)
+ Hands-on experience with Kafka for data streaming
+ Familiarity with CICD tools and processes (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub)
+ Data Warehousing: Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
+ Adaptability: Ability to quickly learn and adopt new technologies as needed.
+ Collaboration: Strong communication and teamwork skills, with experience working in a consultative, client-facing environment.

This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
