    About the Role:

    As a CBRE Regional Facilities Manager, you will oversee a substantial portfolio of healthcare facilities within the greater Austin region of Texas. This critical role involves managing maintenance services across 8 hospitals and 60 clinics, ensuring operational excellence, safety, and compliance. A successful candidate will lead a team of Facilities Managers, drive project execution, and manage a significant operational budget. This is a hybrid position requiring extensive travel throughout the region, with the flexibility to work remotely when not on-site.

    What You'll Do:

    + Manage the comprehensive facilities operations for a large geographical area encompassing the greater Austin region, extending from Marble Falls to Taylor and south to Buda, Texas.

    + Direct the maintenance and operational integrity of a diverse portfolio including 8 hospitals and 60 clinics across various locations.

    + Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 7 direct report Facilities Managers across your portfolio.

    + Implement a strategic travel schedule to ensure regular presence and oversight at all 8 hospitals (at least quarterly) and other facilities as dictated by operational needs. This role requires extensive regional travel.

    + Plan, execute, and oversee various facilities projects, including equipment change-outs and remodels, from inception to completion.

    + Manage all services, encompassing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, pest control, landscaping, and other essential building services.

    + Track and analyze team performance metrics and operational data to identify trends, optimize processes, and drive continuous improvement.

    + Champion and enforce a strong safety culture across all managed facilities, ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations and best practices.

    + Serve as the primary client-facing representative for facilities operations, fostering strong relationships and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.

    + Operate effectively from a remote home office when not conducting on-site visits, leveraging technology for communication and management.

    + Prepare and manage large and high-profile capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports.

    + Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients. Conduct regular meetings regarding regional facilities' performance.

    + Create strategic facility management objectives for clients. Generate capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports.

    + Develop policies and procedures to ensure that contract specifications are fulfilled.

    + Inspect the facility periodically for quality assurance. Ensure facility procedures comply with local, state, and federal regulations.

    + Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching.

    + Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.

    + Maintain organization and efficiency during travel and remote work.

    + Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.

    + Apply knowledge of own discipline and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.

    + Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.

    What You'll Need:

    + Previous experience in a facilities management in the healthcare sector.

    + Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

    + Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.

    + Excellent leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.

    + In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

    + Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
