Job Summary and Qualifications
As the Compliance Analyst, you will contribute to the Company’s mission and vision by providing analytical, research, and implementation support for the Ethics and Compliance Program across HCA Physician Services Group (PSG). This role supports compliance operations through data-driven analysis, regulatory research, and coordination of onboarding, training, and investigative processes. You will ensure a consistent, high-quality approach to compliance program implementation and monitoring.
The Compliance Analyst must demonstrate sound judgment, professionalism, and ethical integrity at all times. The position requires discretion, accuracy, and adherence to the Company Code of Conduct and the Health Care Compliance Association’s Code of Ethics for Healthcare Compliance Professionals.
This position plays a critical role in advancing the effectiveness of the Ethics and Compliance Program through analytical evaluation, data integrity, and regulatory research. The Compliance Analyst ensures consistent application of compliance policies and provides the insight necessary for proactive risk identification and resolution.
Job Responsibilities:
Onboarding and Compliance Integration
+ Lead the coordination and analytical tracking of compliance onboarding for new physician practices and leaders joining HCA Physician Services.
+ Evaluate practice transitions and develop compliance checklists and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.
+ Support onboarding of Ethics and Compliance Officers by ensuring system access, documentation, and compliance readiness.
+ Monitor completion of onboarding steps, maintain centralized documentation, and ensure data accuracy.
+ Identify process gaps or inconsistencies and recommend corrective actions.
+ Facilitate onboarding orientation calls and maintain up-to-date educational materials and resources.
+ Monitor changes in practice structures to ensure compliance updates occur promptly and accurately.
Compliance Education and Training Oversight
+ Analyze compliance training data for 40+ courses impacting 35,000+ employees; prepare detailed summary reports highlighting completion rates, delinquency trends, and compliance risks.
+ Serve as a liaison with the HealthStream support team to address technical issues and ensure accurate course assignments.
+ Investigate and document exemption requests; ensure audit-ready records of training compliance.
+ Conduct quarterly and annual audits of compliance training listings, ensuring completeness and accuracy in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Data Analytics and Metrics
+ Maintain and analyze metrics related to Ethics and Compliance program activities, including onboarding, training, and event investigations.
+ Perform data integrity checks, generate reports, and synthesize findings into actionable insights.
+ Utilize advanced Excel and data visualization techniques to identify trends and support strategic planning.
+ Support leadership in preparing compliance dashboards, scorecards, and presentations summarizing key metrics.
+ Support for Investigations and Event Reviews
+ Assist in the review and documentation of compliance events and investigations through the department’s Event Tracking Tool.
+ Retrieve and analyze contracts, disclosures, and supporting documentation to support investigative review.
+ Summarize findings for inclusion in case documentation and assist in identifying potential compliance risks or process improvement opportunities.
Digital Resource and Records Management
+ Co-manage departmental SharePoint and intranet content, ensuring materials are accurate, current, and accessible.
+ Conduct periodic audits of intranet resources to verify link functionality, document version control, and compliance with record retention policies.
+ Support the creation and posting of internal communications, templates, and compliance resources.
Conflict of Interest Program Support
+ Support administration of the Outside Activities and Conflict of Interest program, including user setup, system maintenance, and data reconciliation.
+ Analyze reports and disclosures for completeness; ensure documentation aligns with policy requirements.
+ Manage user inquiries and troubleshoot issues within COI Smart or equivalent platforms.
+ Compile data for reports and presentations summarizing disclosure trends and program participation.
Compliance Governance and Administrative Coordination
+ Prepare accurate and detailed documentation for departmental meetings and compliance governance sessions.
+ Coordinate scheduling, agendas, and follow-up actions for recurring meetings.
+ Maintain departmental record retention systems in compliance with Records Management policies.
+ Support development and continuous improvement of tools, templates, and resource materials that promote compliance awareness.
+ Research and summarize best practices, corporate guidance, and regulatory resources to assist in responding to compliance inquiries.
+ Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and transparency in departmental processes.
Job Requirements:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Legal Studies, or related field is required
+ Minimum one (1) year of experience in healthcare compliance, legal services, or another highly regulated environment is preferred
+ Prior experience with compliance data systems, auditing, or paralegal research is preferred
+ Certified in Healthcare Compliance is preferred
