Job Summary and Qualifications
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for z/OS batch job scheduling and facilitating the data requirements for HCA acquisitions and divestitures, and collaborating across teams, providing support for data movements, and implementation support for the software cycle from unit testing to production go-live.
Ensure high quality outcomes by delivering all changes efficiently by following proven standard methods and procedures with minimal risk to HCA’s IT infrastructure. Be quality focused and provide positive customer experience.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide support for data requirements including setting up data for unit testing, integration tests and production implementation, data movements for optimization of performance using JCLs and the ZEKE scheduler
Contribute suggestions to Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and others in determining technical direction for code migration processes
Demonstrate ability to analyze information obtained from code migration applications/tools, i.e. ChangeMan, Zeke, Stonebranch, etc., as part of a continuous improvement effort.
Review change requests for technical accuracy and feasibility, assess the scope and impact of approved change requests, oversee the implementation of approved change requests and communicate status of the change request back to the business or project team as necessary
Accountable for maintaining change control integrity, following all policies and procedures, and adhering to all audit requirements
Must have good awareness and familiarity with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Assist in documenting technical processes
Attend meetings as a representative of Code Migration and collaborate with SMEs in other departments to resolve affecting issues
Aid in the implementation and testing of new systems, tools, or processes being implemented as part of a project
Be part of the team in the design and execution of processes and procedures regarding code migration
Perform General Responsibilities with minimal supervision
Will be required to be on-call 24 hours a day during a rotating schedule
Perform other duties as assigned

EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree preferred
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience required
OTHER/SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS
• Job Control Language (JCL) a must
• Multiple Virtual Storage (MVS) for batch processing a must
• Time Sharing Option (TSO) knowledge a must
• HCA-based system experiences a plus
• Experience with Change Management on Mainframe a plus
• Automated scheduling packages and knowledge of Operating systems (z/OS) and Distributed systems a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Analytical mindset with ability to identify issues and note trends
• Creative problem solver
• Excels in a team environment and be able to relate to all diverse individuals

• Typical work hours can vary depending on workload and project deliverables. This is an onsite hybrid position in Nashville.
