How will you make an impact in this role?
Enterprise Communications & MarTech Experiences (ECMX) is a global organization within American Express that powers high-quality, efficient, and user-centric digital experiences.
We’re seeking a Senior Analyst – Digital Product Management to support our Frictionless Conversion Journey Capabilities that play a pivotal role in delivering best in class user experience and deliver impactful business outcomes across multiple digital channels.
This role is ideal for a well-rounded generalist who thrives at the intersection of business and technology — someone who can connect strategy to execution, translate complex needs into actionable deliverables, and envision end-to-end business outcomes across multiple stakeholder groups.
The Senior Analyst will partner closely with Product Managers, Technology, and cross-functional teams to support product enhancements, oversee user experience research, user enablement, manage experience KPI, artifacts and documentation, as well as supporting risk and compliance alignment for key marketing platforms.
Core Responsibilities:
1. Product Management & Delivery
+ Support the product strategy and roadmap for Frictionless Conversion Journey capabilities suite.
+ Work with business stakeholders to gather and refine requirements and translate them into clear user stories and acceptance criteria for technology teams.
+ Partner with Engineering, QA, and Architects to ensure features are prioritized, well-defined, and delivered on schedule.
+ Manage product backlogs, sprints, and progress tracking using JIRA or Rally.
+ Collaborate across Marketing, Compliance, and Tech to ensure high quality end-to-end delivery of campaigns.
2. **User Support & Documentation**
+ Act as a first-line contact for internal users, assisting with onboarding, troubleshooting, and self-service enablement.
+ Maintain and enhance product documentation and related repositories, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
+ Identify recurring user pain points and proactively propose product or process improvements.
3. **Analytics & Performance Tracking**
+ Support the tracking of KPIs for adoption, usability, and campaign success.
+ Partner with analytics teams to translate platform data into insights that inform roadmap and optimization opportunities.
4. **Risk & Compliance Management**
+ Assist in managing platform risk, compliance reviews, and Platform Health activities.
+ Ensure adherence to internal controls and accessibility standards (ADA, WCAG).
5. **Cross-Functional Partnership**
+ Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders to connect technical details to business value.
+ Influence without authority, ensuring alignment across multiple teams and regions.
+ Think holistically across products and experiences, envisioning end-to-end customer and business outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
+ 2 years of experience in product management, digital marketing, or technology delivery.
+ Strong understanding of the product development lifecycle and Agile principles.
+ Experience with JIRA, Rally, and Confluence tools.
+ Self-starter with a strong customer centric mindset.
+ Strong communicator, ability to articulate and convert business requirements into technology-ready features and stories.
+ Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
+ Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and influence without direct authority.
+ Experience collaborating across business and technology as one team to deliver shared outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience with using qualitative and quantitative data to drive product backlogs
+ Familiarity with email campaign execution, deep linking, and URL redirection frameworks.
+ A flair for customer UX and UI design
+ Exposure to or experience with API-based integrations and campaign data tracking.
+ Demonstrated passion for AI, digital innovation and continuous improvement.
+ Experience working in a Scaled Agile (SAFe) delivery framework.
Qualifications
Salary Range: $89,250.00 to $150,250.00 annually bonus benefits
