FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

The Department of Management and Business Innovation is one of three new departments within Lehman College’s newly established School of Business, alongside Accounting and Finance, Information Systems, and Economics. The School’s mission is to prepare graduates with a strong foundation in theoretical knowledge while equipping them with career-ready competencies. This is achieved through a strong emphasis on experiential learning embedded within courses, ensuring students are ready to excel in their professions.
The Department of Management and Business Innovation in the School of Business at Lehman College, City University of New York, invites applications for a full-time faculty position in Marketing, starting Fall 2026. We seek candidates with an active record of research, scholarship, or creative work, a strong commitment to teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels, and a dedication to service within the department, school, and college. The position requires flexibility to teach in the evenings, on weekends, and online.
The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Marketing, with a focus on marketing research and modeling, digital marketing, marketing analytics, and marketing strategy. Responsibilities also include conducting and publishing research in refereed journals, presenting annually at academic conferences, engaging in departmental, school, and college service, and actively participating in professional organizations such as the American Marketing Association (AMA) and the Association of National Advertisers (ANA).
QUALIFICATIONS
A Ph.D. or doctorate degree in Marketing or a closely related field from an accredited institution is required for professorial (Assistant, Associate and Full professor) rank. A master’s degree in Marketing or a related area is required for a Lecturer. Also required are the ability to teach effectively, demonstrated scholarship or achievement, and ability to cooperate with others for the good of the institution. Active involvement in professional organizations, commitment to experiential learning, and promotion of student success is required.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the design and incorporation of experiential learning activities in courses, professional marketing practitioner experience, and working knowledge of marketing tools and technology are preferred.

Assistant Professor: $102,017 - $109,025
Associate Professor: $121,194 - $129,041
Full Professor: $145, 671 - $155,388
