Global Commercial Services (GCS) is the leading payments provider for businesses and corporations of all sizes. The U.S. Small Business and Middle Market segment is the largest GCS customer segment with strong growth momentum and remains a key area of investment and focus.
The Director, Corporate Site Experience, will own the end-to-end experience of the U.S. Corporate prospect pages on Amex.com. This leader will set the vision and roadmap for how prospects learn about the Corporate Program and take action, ensuring a compelling, modern experience that educates prospects through a buying journey. The Director will build and lead a team of 5, responsible for conversion optimization, content ownership, governance, experimentation, and reporting in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Owning all U.S. Corporate prospect pages on Amex.com, including strategy, roadmap, content and UX, information architecture, and quality standards.
+ Driving performance across the end-to-end conversion funnel by optimizing page flows, components, copy and imagery in partnership with UX Design, Product, Engineering, and Sales.
+ Leading a disciplined test-and-learn program (A/B and iterative experiments) with clear hypotheses, measurement plans, and rollouts that improve the experience over time.
+ Evolving reporting across various platforms and teams to inform performance (creative and targeting) and investment optimization, including dashboards and experiment readouts.
+ Ensuring strong lead capture and routing in partnership with Sales and Marketing Operations, including compliance with privacy, legal, and risk requirements.
+ Advancing site foundations such as content freshness, accessibility, search discoverability (SEO & SEM), page performance, and on-page guidance that supports intent from paid and organic channels.
+ Collaborating closely across Enterprise Digital, Analytics & Investment Management, GCS Marketing, Product, Sales, Risk, Legal, and Design; managing external agency partners as needed.
+ Supporting digital application paths in partnership with product and engineering teams.
+ Managing prioritization and trade-offs across a multi-stakeholder roadmap, ensuring alignment to broader business objectives.
Minimum Qualifications
+ 8 years of experience owning high-conversion website pages or funnels for complex products or services.
+ Proven approach to experimentation and iterative optimization across UX, content, and forms.
+ Demonstrated ability to set goals, measure outcomes, and make data-informed decisions in partnership with analytics teams.
+ Experience with Adobe Analytics or similar enterprise analytics platforms; comfort defining requirements and interpreting results.
+ Strong collaboration skills and stakeholder management across product, design, engineering, analytics, sales, compliance, and legal functions.
+ Track record of building and leading teams and managing agency partners.
+ Clear, concise communicator who can translate complex program value into simple, prospect-friendly experiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Working knowledge of web accessibility standards and site performance best practices.
+ Familiarity with lead capture, routing, and marketing operations in a B2B context (i.e., Salesforce).
Qualifications
Salary Range: $123,000.00 to $215,250.00 annually bonus equity (if applicable) benefits
