Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Technician - 3rd Shift to join their dynamic team. As a Quality Control Technician - 3rd Shift, you will be an essential part of the Quality Assurance department supporting production activities across the plant. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to maintaining high standards of quality and safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Quality Control Technician - 3rd Shift

**Location:** Melrose Park, IL

**Pay Range:** $24

**Shift:** 10pm - 6am, Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

+ Perform laboratory testing and quality control checks to support production activities throughout the plant.

+ Adhere to all safety policies and procedures to maintain a hazard-free work environment.

+ Conduct environmental monitoring, swabbing/testing, and routine & non-routine laboratory testing.

+ Review and verify sanitation processes and ensure compliance with foreign material programs.

+ Enter all QC data accurately, maintain manual records and logs, and communicate quality updates to production teams.

What's Needed?

+ High school diploma or GED equivalent.

+ At least 2 years of experience in a quality assurance role within a manufacturing environment.

+ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic setting with a team-oriented mindset.

+ Strong reading, writing, and basic mathematical skills for data recording and analysis.

+ Physical ability to stand, walk, kneel, reach, climb, pull, and bend frequently, and work in various environmental conditions including hot, cold, wet, and humid areas.
