    Our client, a leading manufacturer in the electronics industry, is seeking a Plating Operator to join their team. As a Plating Operator, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting PCB production processes. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, safety consciousness, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Plating Operator

    **Location:** Fremont, CA

    Pay Range: $20 to $27 per hour

    **Shift:** Graveyard Shift — 5 to 6 hours per day

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Operate and maintain the Electroless Copper Line to deposit a uniform copper layer on drilled panels.

    + Perform Electrolytic Copper and Tin Plating using DC rectifiers, ensuring proper current, time, and solution control.

    + Carry out Resist Strip, Etch, and Tin Strip processes to prepare panels for subsequent operations.

    + Operate Hot Air Solder Leveling (HASL) equipment to apply protective solder finishes.

    + Run the Electroless Nickel Gold (ENIG) plating line, monitoring solution chemistry and plating uniformity.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + High School Diploma or GED required; chemical processing or plating experience preferred.

    + 1+ year experience in PCB manufacturing, electroplating, or chemical processing highly desirable.

    + Ability to read and follow process travelers and safety data sheets (SDS).

    + Basic math, computer, and documentation skills for process logging and data entry.

    + Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and focus on quality control.
