Our client, a leading organization in the aerospace and industrial sectors, is seeking a Senior Metallurgist (DIRECT HIRE) to join their team. As a Senior Metallurgist (DIRECT HIRE), you will be part of the Materials Laboratory supporting manufacturing and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Senior Metallurgist (DIRECT HIRE)

**Location:** Hanover, PA

**Pay Range:** $95K-$115K

What's the Job?

+ Oversee operation of mechanical, physical, chemical, and metallographic test equipment in the laboratory.

+ Create and manage procedures for equipment operation and maintenance to ensure reliability and accuracy.

+ Maintain records, inventory supplies, and schedule preventive maintenance activities.

+ Evaluate incoming materials for conformance to specifications and issue certifications for outgoing shipments.

+ Investigate and report on material and process deviations, providing technical support for failure analysis.

What's Needed?

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Materials Science or Metallurgy.

+ Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment in a metallurgical role.

+ Knowledge of materials testing methods, including hardness, metallography, and spectrometry.

+ Understanding of NADCAP standards and compliance requirements.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
