    WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

     

    The Global Business Planning team partners with senior executives to deliver finance thought leadership that drives Nike’s enterprise strategy. This role collaborates across Global & Geo Business Planning, Finance Planning, DSM, Strategy, Tax, Treasury, and Investor Relations, with high exposure to senior leadership—building alignment and driving decisions that define Nike’s future.

    WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

    Nike is seeking a Finance Principal, Long Range Planning with exceptional analytical skills and a talent for storytelling. This role demands sharp analytical skills, bold thinking, and the ability to influence at the highest level. You’ll navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and deliver insights that matter—all while collaborating across a global network of teams. Success in this role requires critical thinking, adaptability, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment while inspiring confidence through clear, compelling communication.

     

    + Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training. MBA or advanced degree highly preferred.

    + 8+ years of experience in finance, investment banking, or related fields with expertise in financial analysis, planning, and budgeting/forecasting.

    + Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience creating integrated financial presentations for executive audiences.

    + Exceptional ability to translate data into insights and visual storytelling for senior leadership.

    + Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to influence and negotiate across functions.

     

    WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

     

    You will shape Nike’s long-term financial strategy shaping strategy, driving alignment, and delivering insights that guide critical decisions. Your work will influence every major planning gate, from CSR to AOP and beyond.

     

    + Lead the end-to-end process for long-range financial planning milestones.

    + Partner with senior finance leadership as a trusted thought leader.

    + Develop strategic financial goals and deliver high-impact analysis.

    + Collaborate across Global Business Planning, Finance Transformation, Tax, Treasury, and Investor Relations.

    + Create executive-level presentations that communicate insights clearly and persuasively.

    + Drive alignment across cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of planning deliverables.

    + Manage ad-hoc strategic projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
