Basic Job Functions:

Nucor Steel Decatur is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Maintenance Mechanic. The candidate must work safely in a team environment. Execution of reliability based maintenance programs to ensure optimum performance of equipment to plant operations in several production units. This position performs preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs of hydraulic and pneumatic, fabrication, and down day planning for equipment. [[cust_safetyState]]

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Must have an Associates degree in Industrial Mechanical Maintenance, a related technical field, or 3 years ofIndustrial Mechanical Maintenance experience2. Mechanical experience consisting of welding, fabrication, millwright, or machine shop equipment

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Previous heavy industrial maintenance or steel making experience
