Description
The Amazon Global Benefits team is seeking a Benefits Manager to join our Financial Benefits team in Seattle, WA. This hand-on individual contributor role will provide strategic and operational program management for financial benefits that support the financial health of employees worldwide. The Benefits Manager will evaluate key measures to continually optimize program operations, be accountable for program and vendor performance, and raise the bar on the end-to-end employee experience. They will also dive deep into the diverse needs of our global workforce, invent novel solutions to solve customer pain points, influence strategic leaders with data, and own implementation of their solutions. The role works closely with financial benefits leaders, Benefits Technology, vendor partners, and other internal stakeholders to execute on the vision for financial health at Amazon.
Key job responsibilities
• Oversee and provide operational program management for a portfolio of financial benefits
• Manage vendor relationships and influence vendors to raise the bar on both product and service
• Collaborate with Amazon Health Benefits, Disability and Leave Services, and other internal teams to review data and partner on solutions to employee needs
• Track key program performance metrics to ensure programs are high performing and producing desired outcomes
• Partner with Payroll, Benefits Technology, Legal, Procurement, and other internal teams to launch new programs
• Explore and implement AI-driven technologies to streamline benefits processes and enhance employee experience

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Human Resources, Finance, Business, or a related field
• 3+ years benefits administration
• 3+ years vendor management experience
• Experience using data and metrics to drive program improvements
• Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
• Demonstrated passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Preferred Qualifications
• 5+ years working in a customer-facing financial role (ex. financial planning, financial education, financial counseling, etc.)
• 5+ years leading and scaling large, complex benefit programs
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the proven ability to effectively manage, influence, negotiate, and communicate with business partners and teams.
• Strong business judgment and a practical, common-sense approach to solving complex problems.
• Project management skills with a proven ability to design workable solutions, manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, prioritize workloads, meet deadlines, and drive projects to successful implementation.
• Flexibility, sharp organizational and process-oriented skills, and a self-starting work ethic.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $70,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $135,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
