Description of Duties:
The Office of Communications and Marketing (OCM) is looking for a seasoned Digital Media Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience capturing both still and video content, experience with the Adobe suite, and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and clients to craft stimulating stories about ESF. The person in this position will work very closely with the Executive Director, Social Media Manager, and Senior Art Director to meet our office's objectives and to prioritize creating content that works to recruit and retain our students, and to amplify the impact of the work of our institution.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
+ Capture high-quality still and video content for multiple short and long-term projects
+ Plan, set up, and execute video shoots with the best equipment available
+ Edit various raw footage, including interviews and b-roll, into polished video content
+ Collaborate with internal and external teams to develop concepts
+ Manage and organize video/photo archives (MediaValet)
+ Ensure that video content is aligned with brand guidelines
+ Stay updated with trends and changes in video production field
+ Operate, maintain, and catalog video equipment
+ Serve as key campus drone operator
+ Capture agreed-upon events and field work
Job Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
+ Proven experience as videographer in similar role, with projects to share as evidence
+ Ability to work both independently and with many collaborators, and ability to work with and/or assist clients with their project needs and goals
+ Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere preferred)
+ Solid understanding of camera operation, including lighting and equipment that is needed in multiple outdoor settings
+ Creative mindset with attention on detail and possibility
+ Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
+ Knowledge and interest in advancing motion graphics effects
+ Experience live streaming
+ Experience interviewing
+ Experience with operating drones and certified sUAS Remote Pilot License
+ Bachelor's degree in media or related field.
