    Job Title: Test TechnicianJob Description

     

    As a Test Technician, you will work in a packaging test lab where you will conduct tests on dispensers. You will be responsible for utilizing various machines and fixtures to mount dispensers, assessing their performance by pushing and hitting them to identify areas of failure or excellence. You will set up tests, follow procedures, and record data effectively.

    Responsibilities

    + Conduct routine lab testing for packaging and dispensing system evaluation.

    + Weigh, measure, and record data accurately.

    + Use Excel for data entry and database management.

    + Move samples between different test chambers and work areas.

    + Ensure proper setup of test equipment and follow testing procedures.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with quality testing and test equipment.

    + Familiarity with electronics and equipment such as multimeters, DMM, and battery simulators.

    + Basic computer skills, particularly in Excel for data entry.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Entry-level understanding in science, engineering, or as a quality technician.

    + Detail-oriented with the ability to perform routine testing and mundane tasks.

    + Experience with soldering electronic boards and using oscilloscopes is a plus.

    + Outgoing, focused, and hard-working personality.

    Work Environment

    The position is based in a well-equipped testing lab within a corporate environment. Working hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The role involves collaborating with team members in a professional and supportive setting.

    This is a Contract position based out of Akron, OH.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
