What You’ll Do

+ Lead Projects from Concept to Completion: Manage initiatives using the Front-End Loading (FEL) process, preparing documentation and defining scope with engineering teams.

+ Collaborate Across Departments: Coordinate meetings with purchasing, safety, environmental, and engineering stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.

+ Drive Technical Improvements: Oversee projects such as pump replacements, valve upgrades, and generator installations, working closely with third-party contractors and design firms.

+ Own Project Approvals: Present documentation and secure sign-offs for projects ranging from $50K to $200K.

+ Enhance Efficiency & Safety: Scope projects and recommend solutions that improve processes and protect people.

What We’re Looking For

+ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

+ Experience: 2–5 years in project management within a related field.

+ Industry Knowledge: Strong background in chemical manufacturing.

Bonus Points For:

+ Experience with hazardous chemicals.

+ Familiarity with packaged chemicals or oil/gas industries.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Sauget, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00/hr.
