    Job Description

    **About the team:** Join the Health, Safety, and Environmental team to help foster and support a safe and effiecient work environment at the ZF Gray Court facility.

    What you can look forward to as an HSE Specialist:

    + Assist and support the HSSE Supervisor/Manager with the development and implementation of policies, programs and procedures for compliance with HSSE requirements of the company and regulatory agencies (local, state/provincial and national).

    + Support site with achievement of HSSE objectives and targets. Support in the recognition, evaluation and control of work processes with potential hazard/risk exposures relative to safety and the environment.

    + Act as security coordinator - establish and maintain security programs that contain significant and potential security risks.

    + Provide guidance/support/assistance to the Human Resources Function in relation to their administration of the site’s First-Aid Responder, Personal Protective Equipment (safety shoes, safety glasses, etc.) and Workers Compensation programs (USA Operations).

    Your profile as an HSE Specialist:

    + Bachelor’s Degree is required

    + 2-5 years of related experience

    + Working knowledge of EPA and/or OSHA regulations and all other regulatory governance.

    + Excellent organizational skills, communication skills, and ability to effectively interface with internal and external personnel

    + Proficient computer skills, strong MS Office (e.g. Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) knowledge

    + English language competency
