Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Richmond, Virginia. In this role, you will handle essential accounts payable tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial operations. This position requires strong organizational skills and familiarity with accounting systems to support daily processes.

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate payments.

• Enter invoice data into the system, maintaining precision and compliance.

• Code invoices correctly according to company procedures and standards.

• Perform check runs and verify payment details to ensure smooth operations.

• Utilize Yardi software to manage and track financial transactions.

• Reconcile accounts to resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate records.

• Collaborate with team members to support accounting processes and meet deadlines.

• Use Microsoft Excel to organize, analyze, and report financial data.

• Ensure proper documentation and filing of invoices and payment records. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable or related financial roles.

• Proficiency in invoice coding and data entry.

• Familiarity with check runs and payment processing procedures.

• Hands-on experience with Yardi software is preferred.

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for financial data management.

• Ability to reconcile accounts and identify discrepancies effectively.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
