Position Overview
We are seeking a professional and organized Receptionist / Legal Assistant to join our law firm. This role is essential to ensuring smooth daily operations and providing exceptional client service. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Reception Duties: Greet clients and visitors, maintain a welcoming environment.
• Phone Management: Answer and direct incoming calls promptly and professionally.
• Mail Handling: Scan and distribute incoming mail and documents.
• Calendar Management: Enter appointments, deadlines, and court dates into the firm’s calendar system.
• Docketing: Assist with tracking and updating case deadlines.
• Medical Records Requests: Prepare and process requests for medical records as needed.
• Administrative Support: Provide general office assistance to attorneys and staff.

Qualifications
• Previous experience in a law firm or professional office setting preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency with office software and document management systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation & Benefits
• Competitive salary: $40,000 – $45,000 annually.

o Long-term disability policy Requirements • Previous experience in a legal or detail-oriented office setting is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in e-filing, court filings, and calendar management is required.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Familiarity with handling medical record requests and litigation-related administrative tasks.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with clients and staff.
• Knowledge of civil litigation processes and terminology is advantageous.
• Experience managing multi-line phone systems and inbound calls.
• Competence with office software and document management systems.
