Description We are looking for a skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in financial modeling and forecasting to support key business decisions and drive financial strategy. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with strong attention to detail to contribute to a thriving retail organization, with potential growth into a Finance Manager position within a year.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain detailed financial models, including cash flow, profit and loss statements, and balance sheet analysis.
• Conduct comprehensive forecasting and budgeting activities to support strategic planning.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights for improved decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial strategies with organizational goals.
• Prepare and present financial reports, highlighting key metrics and performance indicators.
• Manage cash flow forecasting to optimize liquidity and operational efficiency.
• Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills to perform complex calculations and data analysis.
• Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to enhance financial processes and reporting.
• Provide guidance to less experienced team members and contribute to their growth.
• Assist in evaluating business opportunities and risks to ensure informed financial decisions. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting.
• Strong proficiency in cash flow modeling, budgeting, and financial planning.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization.
• Proven ability to analyze complex financial data and provide clear recommendations.
• Experience preparing detailed financial reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, onsite environment.
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey financial insights to non-financial audiences.
