Summary:
The Practice Administrator is responsible for managing the clinical and business operations and ensuring quality patient care and processes. Practice Administrator is accountable for the supervision of clinical staff in coordination with the Clinical Coordinator as well as overall management of all clinical and operational staff, development of standardized policies, procedures, and changes in clinical operations, working collaboratively with Director of Clinical Practice Management, ensuring patient satisfaction, clinic flow, performance improvement, quality, and financial productivity. The Practice Administrator is able to forecast resource requirement for implementation of practice goals and objectives, integration with Trinity Medical WNY Service lines and departments to provide compliance with Federal, State and Local agencies and regulations. The Practice Administrator oversees budget, patient, and vendor communications. Works collaboratively with Trinity leadership on a daily basis to promote effective delivery of best practice, and patient focused care. Develops strategies in collaboration with Director.
Responsibilities:
EDUCATION
+ BA or BS Degree, in a business or healthcare related field preferred
+ In Lieu of above degree, will accept previous experience on a discretionary basis.
EXPERIENCE
+ Minimum (7) years Medical Practice Management experience required
+ Experience in CPT & ICD--10 Coding knowledge and medical terminology required
+ Electronic Health Record experience required, EPIC exposure preferred
+ Experience with managing a team required
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
+ Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality based programs as applicable
+ Knowledge of computer systems and applications
+ Strong knowledge of medical billing & third party payer requirements
+ Strong knowledge of medical office terminology, technology and operations
+ Ability to effectively communicate in a professional manner with physicians, administrators, patients, and associates
+ General knowledge of HIPAA Privacy and Security rules.
+ Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with all related parties.
+ Ability to prioritize work responsibilities and maintain composure while working under demanding conditions which may involve supporting multiple objectives, physicians, and offices.
+ Ability to navigate and retrieve data from an electronic Health Information Management system
+ Possesses strong organizational and time management skills
+ Ability to create an atmosphere which encourages motivation, innovation, and high performance
