Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Spokane, Washington. In this role, you will be responsible for managing essential bookkeeping tasks and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. This position requires a strong background in accounts payable and proficiency in accounting software to support business operations effectively.

This is an immediate contract opportunity (at least 3 weeks in duration).

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.

• Maintain organized records of invoices and payments for auditing purposes.

• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure financial data integrity.

• Manage accounts receivable tasks and follow up on outstanding payments.

• Utilize Sage Intacct to input and manage financial data efficiently.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations.

• Collaborate with team members to streamline bookkeeping processes.

• Monitor and resolve discrepancies in financial records.

• Generate reports to provide insights into financial operations.

• Support general bookkeeping tasks to maintain accurate financial documentation.

Requirements • Proven experience in bookkeeping with a focus on accounts payable.

• Proficiency in using Sage Intacct or similar accounting software.

• Knowledge of accounts receivable processes and bank reconciliations.

• Familiarity with the construction industry is highly desirable.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to handle data entry with precision and efficiency.

• Excellent communication skills for team collaboration.

• Understanding of accounting principles and compliance standards.
