    Staff Accountant – Hartford County | $65,000–$70,000

    Key Responsibilities

    + Maintain and reconcile cash, revenue transactions, and balance sheet accounts

    + Assist with general ledger entries, account schedules, and expense reporting

    + Process and code invoices through AP software; communicate with vendors as needed

    + Perform monthly bank reconciliations

    + Support property tax, sales/use tax filings, and maintain supporting documentation

    + Identify and maintain 1099 vendors

    + Assist with annual 1099 preparation

    + Record and reconcile transactions related to the retirement plan

    + Support the Controller with various projects, analyses, and month-end tasks

    Required Experience

    + Associate degree in Accounting or higher (Bachelor’s preferred)

    + 1–2+ years of accounting experience

    + Comfort with a hands-on AP component

    + Strong Excel skills

    Preferred Experience

    + Experience in a healthcare or medical office environment (a plus, not required)

    Required Experience

    + Associate degree in Accounting or higher (Bachelor’s preferred)
