Description

We are looking for a skilled Medical Billing Specialist with expertise in medical billing to join our clients' team. In this role, you will play a critical part in assisting patients with resolving insurance billing issues and claim denials. This is a long-term contract position offering an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate communication between patients and insurance companies to address coordination of benefits claim denials.

• Conduct inbound and outbound calls to resolve insurance-related billing issues effectively.

• Investigate and follow up on denied claims to ensure timely resolution.

• Provide exceptional customer service by guiding patients through insurance processes and addressing their concerns.

• Collaborate with insurance teams to ensure accurate and complete documentation of claims.

• Analyze and identify trends in claim denials to recommend improvements to the process.

• Maintain detailed records of interactions and resolutions in compliance with company policies.

• Assist in training initiatives to enhance team knowledge on insurance billing and benefits coordination.

• Work in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines and performance targets.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in insurance follow-up or handling claim denials.

Epic experience

• Proven customer service skills with a focus on patient communication.

• Familiarity with insurance billing processes and benefits coordination.

• Proficiency in managing inbound and outbound calls in a call center environment.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

• Ability to analyze claim issues and recommend actionable solutions.

• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with patients and insurance teams effectively.
