Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in West Valley, Utah. This contract position offers an opportunity to utilize your expertise in financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in accounting processes. Responsibilities:

• Oversee month-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate completion.

• Maintain and update the general ledger with precision and attention to detail.

• Prepare and post journal entries to support financial reporting requirements.

• Conduct account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial data.

• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between financial records and banking transactions.

• Analyze and resolve discrepancies within accounting records and transactions.

• Prepare financial reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with accounting standards.

• Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

• Continuously improve accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Requirements • Proven experience in month-end close processes and general ledger management.

• Proficiency in preparing journal entries and conducting account reconciliations.

• Strong knowledge of bank reconciliation procedures.

• Solid understanding of accounting principles and standards.

• Ability to analyze financial data and resolve discrepancies effectively.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Strong communication skills to collaborate across teams.

• Proficiency in accounting software and tools.
