Successful client located in the Greater Philadelphia area is looking to staff a proactive Finance Manager for their immediate opening. As the Finance Manager, you will oversee general ledger maintenance, conduct thorough account analysis, and manage both accounts receivable (A/R) and accounts payable (A/P) activities, including month-end reconciliations. Additionally, this Finance Manager role works closely with the CFO to support strategic financial planning and reporting, and is expected to apply strong customer service principles within all financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Lead daily accounting activities, maintaining the integrity and accuracy of financial records and transactions.

+ Manage and guide A/P and A/R teams to ensure prompt and accurate completion of work.

+ Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations and support the financial close process.

+ Review financial statements and ledger accounts, address variances, and ensure adherence to GAAP standards.

+ Develop comprehensive financial reports, forecasts, and presentations to inform the CFO’s strategic decisions.

+ Strengthen internal controls to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance across financial operations.

+ Mentor and develop accounting staff to foster teamwork, professional growth, and high performance.

+ Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate timely audits and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.

+ Partner with the customer service team to resolve billing issues and support strong client relationships.

+ Enforce consistent application of financial policies and accounting standards organization-wide.

+ Oversee budgeting processes and contribute to special projects, ad hoc analyses, and process improvements.

+ Operate independently, identify key priorities, and advance strategic initiatives with minimal oversight.

Requirements

The ideal Finance Manager will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. CPA preferred.

Other requirements for the Finance Manager role include and are not limited to:

+ 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including team supervision.

+ Proven experience with account analysis, reconciliation of accounts, and financial reporting.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel;

+ Experience with accounting systems such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage preferred.

+ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
