Description

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing daily accounting tasks, and supporting month-end and year-end financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Record and reconcile daily financial transactions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger entries.

+ Maintain accurate and organized financial records.

+ Reconcile bank and credit card statements.

+ Prepare financial reports, including profit & loss and balance sheets, as needed.

+ Assist with payroll processing and employee expense tracking, if applicable.

+ Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

+ Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.

+ Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.

+ Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.

+ Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) and MS Office, particularly Excel.

+ Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

+ Strong communication skills for coordinating with vendors, clients, and team members.

+ Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

+ Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
