Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Contract Analyst with a strong background in healthcare contracting and proven experience in redlining and negotiation for a . The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and negotiating a variety of healthcare-related agreements to ensure compliance, mitigate risk, and align with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Contract Review & Analysis:

+ Examine healthcare-related contracts (provider agreements, vendor contracts, payer agreements, etc.) for accuracy, compliance, and risk exposure.

+ Identify and resolve discrepancies, ambiguities, and unfavorable terms.

Redlining & Negotiation:

+ Draft and redline contract language to protect organizational interests.

+ Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external parties to negotiate terms and conditions effectively.

Compliance & Risk Management:

+ Ensure contracts adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and organizational policies (HIPAA, Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, etc.).

+ Assess potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies.

Documentation & Reporting:

+ Maintain accurate records of contract versions, negotiations, and approvals.

+ Prepare summaries and reports for leadership on contract status and key provisions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

+ Work closely with legal, finance, procurement, and operational teams to align contract terms with business objectives.

The applicant needs to be local with one day in office, which is Wednesday’s.

Requirements

Qualifications

+ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Legal Studies, or related field (JD preferred but not required).

+ Experience: 3+ years of experience in contract analysis within the healthcare industry.

+ Strong background in redlining and negotiating complex agreements.

+ Skills: Excellent understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.

+ Proficiency in contract management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

+ Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
