Description We are looking for a skilled Tax Preparer to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Fremont, California. In this role, you will provide expert tax preparation services to individuals and businesses, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses using advanced tax software.

• Meet with clients in person to discuss their financial situations and address any tax-related concerns.

• Analyze financial documents and records to verify compliance with current tax laws.

• Identify opportunities for tax savings, including deductions, credits, and exemptions.

• Respond to client inquiries and provide clear guidance on tax matters.

• Maintain current knowledge of tax regulations and apply them effectively in your work.

• Deliver outstanding customer service by resolving client issues promptly and professionally.

• Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and filed in a timely manner. Requirements • At least 3 years of experience in tax preparation, ideally in public accounting or a similar setting.

• Proficiency with Axcess Tax or comparable tax software.

• Strong understanding of tax laws, regulations, and processes.

• Previous experience as a Tax Preparer or in a related role.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy when handling financial data.

• Analytical skills to identify and maximize tax-saving opportunities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and meet deadlines efficiently.
