CNC Machinist

Description
Set-up and operate all CNC machining.
Prepares and operates CNC Lathes and CNC Mills under minimal supervision, performs simple to complex setups, changes tools (inserts, drills, mills, etc.), and performs programming edits and verifies changes through inspection methods.
Generates CNC programs by utilization of available CAM programming software, thorough knowledge of cutting feeds and speeds, and tool composition/application knowledge..
Maintain a clean and safe working environment in all production areas (5 S's).
Shift:
Weekend Shift: M-F, 5:30 AM - 2 PM.
2nd shift: M-F, 2 PM – 10:30 PM.
1st Shift: M-F, 5:30 AM - 2 PM.
Compensation: $21 - $37 an hour (based on experience)

Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
3-5 years of demonstrated experience for Level 2 CNC,
5 or more years of demonstrated experience for Level 3 CNC.
Experience writing CNC programs in a machining environment.
Demonstrates proficiency with CAD and CAM software preferred.
Ability to program using MasterCAM Software.
Experience with measuring tools, such as calipers and micrometers.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions and blueprints in English is required.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Aerospace experience is preferred.
