    Job Title: Lead Carpenter

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Carpenter to join our dynamic team. This role involves working on large-scale commercial projects such as office buildings, retail centers, schools, and healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will be proficient in structural framing, drywall installation, and finish carpentry, with a strong understanding of commercial building codes and safety standards.

    Responsibilities

    + Interpret architectural plans, blueprints, and specifications for commercial projects.

    + Construct, install, and repair structures including walls, floors, ceilings, partitions, and doors.

    + Perform rough and finish carpentry tasks using a variety of hand and power tools.

    + Install metal and wood framing, drywall, acoustic ceilings, and millwork.

    + Ensure all work meets commercial building codes and project specifications.

    + Collaborate with other trades (electricians, plumbers, HVAC) to coordinate workflow.

    + Maintain a clean and safe job site, adhering to OSHA and company safety protocols.

    + Inspect work for accuracy and quality, making adjustments as needed.

    Essential Skills

    + 5-7 years of carpentry experience.

    + 1-3 years of commercial construction experience.

    + 1-3 years of drywall experience.

    + Proficiency in framing and finish carpentry.

    + Ability to interpret blueprints and specifications.

    + Experience with metal framing and commercial doors.

    + Proficiency in using hand and power tools.

    + Ability to lift 75 lbs.

    Work Environment

     

    Work on commercial construction sites from Monday to Friday, 6 am to 4 pm. The work sites are within a 2-hour radius of Mercersburg, PA.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of State Line, PA.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $30.00/hr.
