    Job Title: CNC Machinist $20-30/HR

    Job Description

We are expanding internationally and securing new projects that require skilled machinists for 2nd and 3rd shifts.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate and adjust CNC Mill and Lathe tools to perform standard and repetitive operations.

    + Use provided programs and setups maintained by others to perform tasks.

    + Utilize precision measuring devices, including micrometers, calipers, and height stands.

    + Measure accurately to .001 to ensure precision.

    + Set up machines and tooling, specifically Mazak equipment.

    Essential Skills

    + Strong mechanical aptitude.

    + Basic knowledge of hand tools and mechanical devices.

    + Basic understanding of machining processes such as milling and lathes, both horizontal and vertical.

    + Ability to quickly learn how to make adjustments to tool offsets.

    + Basic understanding of cutting tools with experience in judging necessary changes.

    + Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

    + Ability to follow written instructions from Work Instruction Sheets.

    + Strong blueprint reading skills with the capability to check parts for conformance.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with CNC machines is a plus.

    + Willingness to learn M and G code programming.

    + Broad knowledge of machining techniques.

    + Familiarity with various CNC machines, including Brother, Okuma, and others.

    + Knowledge of G-codes and M-codes.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eldridge, IA.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
