Job Title: Assembly Technician
Job Description
Join our team as a full-time Assembly Technician, working Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. Currently, shifts are from Monday to Thursday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, and Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. There is an opportunity to work on Saturdays, although it is voluntary. Occasionally, a 9:00 pm to 6:30 am shift may be required based on project deadlines, and employees will be asked about their availability during the interview process.
Responsibilities
+ Dismantle, rebuild, adjust, clean, inspect, repair, paint, assemble (including electrical hookups), and adapt equipment for demonstration and development tests.
+ Operate all equipment for various tests and maintain primary and auxiliary equipment.
+ Read and interpret applicable blueprints and disassemble machinery using hand and power tools.
+ Fit and lay out mating parts of assemblies; locate, scribe, and/or spot punch the parts for additional machining.
+ Replace defective or worn parts and reassemble machinery.
+ Adjust clearance and timing of control devices to specifications.
+ Assemble, operate, disassemble, clean up, and reassemble all primary and auxiliary machinery as required or according to instructions.
+ Set up and prepare all primary and auxiliary equipment and establish rates as instructed.
+ Operate all primary and auxiliary test machinery and record pertinent data within prescribed criteria.
+ Conduct routine evaluation of sample materials as directed.
+ Modify components for tests to ensure successful demonstrations.
Essential Skills
+ Experience with assembly, machine building, and blueprint reading.
+ Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
+ Ability to read tape measures and interpret mechanical assembly instructions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Entry-level mechanically inclined individuals are welcome.
+ Experience in welding, pipefitting, automotive work, or military past is beneficial.
+ Electrical troubleshooting and repairs, schematic reading, and installation experience are nice to have.
+ Military veterans with Secret Clearance are a plus.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $31.00/hr.
