Job Title: Machinist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Machinist to set up and operate CNC machines, producing parts to print with precision and efficiency. This role involves Mastercam programming, G-code/Fanuc editing, as well as operating various equipment including drill press, VMC, lathe, and saw. The Machinist will inspect and verify parts using precision measuring tools and maintain accurate quality records. The position also involves assembling hydraulic and mechanical components per blueprints and schematics, installing and testing hydraulic hoses, cylinders, valves, and pumps, and troubleshooting minor issues. A commitment to following blueprints, work orders, and instructions to ensure first-pass quality is essential.
Responsibilities
+ Set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts according to specifications.
+ Operate additional equipment, including drill press, VMC, lathe, and saw.
+ Inspect and verify parts using precision measuring tools; maintain accurate quality records.
+ Assemble hydraulic/mechanical components per blueprints and schematics.
+ Install and test hydraulic hoses, cylinders, valves, and pumps; troubleshoot minor issues.
+ Follow blueprints, work orders, and instructions to ensure first-pass quality.
+ Perform general preventive maintenance and maintain a clean, organized work area.
+ Collaborate with teammates to meet production goals and work safely.
+ Assist Assembly and other departments as needed based on workload.
+ Travel as required and perform additional tasks as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ 2+ years CNC machining experience (setup and operation).
+ Ability to program/edit using Mastercam, G-code, and Fanuc.
+ Strong blueprint reading and measuring tool skills.
+ Basic troubleshooting skills for mechanical and machining issues.
+ Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with hydraulic or mechanical assembly is a plus.
+ Willingness to learn and assist in multiple areas of production.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
+ Frequent standing, bending, reaching, and manual tool use.
+ Ability to safely operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and material handling equipment (training provided if needed).

Work Environment
Full-time position with working hours from Monday to Friday, 3:30 pm. Overtime may be required based on production demands. The work environment includes exposure to noise, dust, and machinery typical of a manufacturing setting. Training for operating overhead cranes, forklifts, and material handling equipment will be provided if needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Luxemburg, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.00/hr.
