Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift - Pay up to $35/hr

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician with a minimum of 2 years of experience in plant maintenance, focusing on the repair and upkeep of industrial equipment and supporting assets.

Responsibilities

+ Perform repairs on industrial equipment including machine tools, power tools, hand tools, forklifts, grinders, presses, and cranes.

+ Conduct documented preventive maintenance and routine safety inspections.

+ Support building equipment upkeep and ensure compliance with safety standards.

+ Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free environment.

+ Ensure PPE and safety gear are functional and accessible.

+ Uphold the integrity of plant infrastructure.

+ Multitask and adapt to shifting priorities, especially during equipment downtime or emergencies.

+ Work independently while maintaining high standards of quality.

+ Interpret equipment diagrams and schematics.

+ Troubleshoot and diagnose issues, even under ambiguous or undefined conditions.

Work Environment

Work in a dynamic CNC job shop environment with over 30 CNC machines and the use of overhead cranes.
